Radio 4 in association with RSA

The next in the series of Radio 4's exciting new talks strand – FOUR THOUGHT – takes place in the RSA's Benjamin Franklin Room on Wednesday 4 July from 6-7.30pm.

Combining two of the trademark elements of both the RSA and Radio 4 - big ideas and evocative storytelling - speakers will be invited to take to the stage ready to air their latest thinking on the trends, ideas, interests and passions that affect our culture and society. Talks will be unscripted, thought-provoking and entertaining, with a personal dimension.

Speakers will include: novelist and poet Joe Dunthorne on what live music can teach us about all getting along together; writer and performer Leisa Rea on the joy of failure; andarchitect Ali Manghera on the future of shopping.

Chair: David Baddiel, writer and broadcaster.

FOUR THOUGHT will be broadcast at a later date on BBC Radio 4.

Places for this very special event are strictly limited and we anticipate extremely high demand.
